Acne, not only juvenile

     It is an ailment which afflicts mostly teenagers, but it may just as well appear in maturity, especially in case of women who have been treated with hormonal preparations. In Father Grzegorz's Phytotherapy Centre it has been long believed that the so called diseases of the skin are really symptoms of problems inside a patient's body which are just manifested on the skin.
     A suggested detoxicating therapy assumes using Apibon or Bonimel, both of which contain propolis and beebread. The latter preparations are also very important when it comes to superinfection, or suppuration, of pimples. The preparations stimulate the natural immunity and have antibacterial properties.
     Boniderm (Father Grzegorz's Pomade) is always recommended in treating pimples and Frather Grzegorz's Propolis Cream is advisable when the suppurative changes have appeared on the skin.

A patient also receives advice concerning the diet:

1. spicy seasoning, chocolate and fried dishes should be avoided
2. make-up should not be applied in the form of powder or cream as they close the pores in the skin
3. consuming barm (it contains a lot of vitamin B), kefir, vegetables, fruit and honey is recommended
4. from time to time it is advisable to put on a face mask based on the flowers of Chamomile and Marigold
5. sunrays also have beneficial effects, but lying in the sun for too long should be avoided.
